Share cake and gratitude at the Camas First Friday event on Friday, November 1

The Downtown Camas Association’s November First Friday ‘Thankful for Pie’ festivities will take place on Friday, November 1 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM in downtown Camas.

Visitors can enjoy pie tastings and raffles, have fun at the Pie Walk Dance Party, roast s’mores and get creative with fall crafts, games and activities. The evening also features fall-inspired dinner and cocktail specials, multiple art exhibitions and after-hours shopping.

In addition, local musician Seth Moran will perform a free all-ages concert at LiveWell Camas, 417 NE Birch St. from 5 to 7 p.m. This is part of “First Fridays Unplugged,” an acoustic concert series that provides entertainment in an inclusive way. alcohol-free area. Moran uses a unique looping technique with his soulful and energetic violin playing. LiveWell is a women-led yoga and fitness studio that recently transformed into a 501c3 nonprofit to provide all community members with greater accessibility to their classes.

“Cake is one of the most delicious parts of fall, and we can’t wait to come together and celebrate the season with our community,” said Brie Marais, the DCA’s new marketing and volunteer coordinator. “First Fridays are a fun and festive way to connect and make memories downtown. Who doesn’t like dancing for cake? The fall shops, art shows, restaurants and free activities offer something for all walks of life.”
