HANOVER, N.H. — — Jaden Craig threw for 311 yards and a touchdown, Charles Deprima rushed for two touchdowns in the fourth quarter and Harvard defeated Dartmouth 31-27 on Saturday for its fifth straight victory.

It was the only FCS game on Saturday with two teams with one or fewer losses this season. The winning streak for Harvard (6-1, 3-1 Ivy League) is the longest since the 2015 team opened the season with eight straight wins.

Deprima pulled Harvard within 27-24 with 5:59 remaining in the fourth quarter after a 14-play, 94-yard drive that included a 6-yard TD. After Dartmouth went three-and-out, Harvard chewed up 3 minutes, 32 seconds, ending in a 9-yard touchdown run by Deprima with just 27 seconds left.

The Crimson won at Dartmouth (6-1, 3-1) for the 14th time in 15 meetings since early 1994, including a 28-13 decision in 2022.

Deprima opened the scoring on Harvard’s first possession of the game and Kieran Corr added a 32-yard field goal before Dartmouth scored the next 20 points for a 10-point lead late in the third quarter.

At the end of the third quarter, 21 points were scored in the last 3:03. Dartmouth QB Jackson Proctor connected with Chris Corbo from 11 yards out and Daniel Haughton from 72 yards, sandwiching around Craig’s 29-yard TD pass to Seamus Gilmartin.
