Kamala Harris appears on ‘SNL’ in the final episode before the election

Vice President Kamala Harris made a cameo on the final episode of “Saturday Night Live” before Tuesday’s election, joining her impersonator on the show.

Harris appeared as the “mirror image” of herself, played by Maya Rudolph, at the end of the cold open air mocking Donald Trump wearing a sanitary vest at a rally this week, as well as Joe Biden’s repeated blunders.

Rudolph’s Harris wondered, “I wish I could talk to someone who has been in my shoes, you know, a Black, South Asian woman running for president. Preferably from the Bay Area.”

It was then revealed that Harris was sitting across the table from her, prompting huge cheers from the audience. Harris grinned and said, “You and me both, sister.”

Harris then took a shot at Trump, saying, “I’m just here to remind you that you’ve got this. Because you can do something your opponent can’t. You can open doors.”

Trump was seen struggling for a moment to open the door of the garbage truck he was using to speak to reporters this week. The garbage truck and vest were intended to draw attention to Biden’s suggestion this week that Trump’s supporters were “trash.”

Rudolph poked fun at Harris’ signature laugh, prompting Harris to ask, “I don’t really laugh like that, do I?”

“A little,” Rudolph replied.

What followed as a series of rhymes around Harris’ first name, as Rudolph said, “Kamala, take my palm-ala.”

“The American people want to stop the chaos,” Rudolph said, while Harris added, “And an end to the drama.”

“With a cool new stepmom-ala. Put our pajamas back on. And watch a rom-com-ala,” Rudolph said.

Kamala Harris made a cameo on Saturday Night Live on November 2, alongside her impersonator Maya Rudolph.

Rudolph added at the end of the skit, “I’m going to vote for us.”

‘Great. Any chance you’re registered in Pennsylvania?’ Harris asked.

“No, I’m not,” Rudolph said.

“Well, it was worth a try,” Harris said, before the two delivered the show’s signature song: “Live from New York, it’s Saturday night!”

The Trump campaign disparaged Harris’ appearance on the show when reports surfaced Saturday about her “surprise” cameo.

“Kamala Harris has nothing of substance to offer the American people, so that’s why she’s living out her twisted fantasy by cosplaying with her elitist friends on Saturday Night Leftists while her campaign fades into obscurity. Over the past four years, Kamala’s destructive policies have led to untold misery and pain for all Americans. She broke it, and President Trump will fix it,” spokesperson Steven Cheung told Fox News Digital.

Harris wasn’t the only Democrat to make a cameo on the show.

Virginia Senator Tim Kaine, Hillary Clinton’s running mate in 2016, also appeared in a skit in which a game show contestant couldn’t remember who Kaine was.
