Tennessee Titans safety Quandre Diggs left with an injury against the New England Patriots

Tennessee Titans veteran safety Quandre Diggs left the team’s game against the New England Patriots in the second quarter on Sunday, favoring his left foot.

Diggs walked straight into the blue medical tent on the Titans’ sideline, helped by two of the Titans’ athletic trainers. He was quickly put on a cart and then driven back to the locker room. He is ruled out for the remainder of the match.

Mike Brown replaced Diggs on defense after his injury. Rookie Julius Wood is the only other reserve safety on the Titans’ active roster besides Brown. Starter Amani Hooker will play Sunday despite spending the week on the injury report with a groin.

Diggs has been a steady starter for the Titans since signing with the team during training camp. Diggs, a three-time Pro Bowler formerly of the Seattle Seahawks and Detroit Lions, collected 21 tackles in the Titans’ first four games.
