Buzz: Obama ‘sexiest’ president, with Trump in third place, new ‘I Voted’ bobblehead, and Ford and Carter ended up as friends

As another bitter presidential election draws to a close, some are comparing 2024 to 1976, when…President Gerard Ford quickly got closer to the leader Jimmy Carter in the last days. Carter defeated the incumbent by 2 points in a tough election.

And now we learn that the two eventually became friends. “Once political rivals, former Presidents Gerald Ford and Jimmy Carter became not only friends but also political allies in their post-presidential years,” said Ford biographer Scott Kaufman told Secrets.

“Their relationship is a testament to the bipartisanship that has become all too rare in today’s politicized climate,” added Kaufman, a professor of history at Francis Marion University in South Carolina. Ford died the day after Christmas 2006, and Carter, who just turned 100, is in hospice care.

– Maybe we shouldn’t be surprised about that President Barack Obama is considered the “sexiest president” ever. But former President Donald Trump as the third sexiest president? It’s true, says BetUS, an online sports betting network. It told us: “His immense brand and unapologetic approach have resonated with many.” And BetUS predicted that “Trump’s attractiveness could push him across the finish line next week.” The list was taken from a larger survey of the sexiest celebrities. Andres Vargas, chief content editor at BetUS, said: “Celebrities make up an extremely small percentage of the human population, and many individuals fall in love with talented celebrities such as musicians, actors, athletes and even former presidents, which can cause excitement and fascination. Out of the many celebrity crushes out there, we at BetUS wanted to reveal which male celebrity would be considered the sexiest in 2024.”

Phil Sklar, the founder of Milwaukee’s National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum, has created his latest doll of the 2024 campaign. It’s an ‘I voted’ sticker ‘bobble’. Sklar told Secrets of his $25 offering: “The patriotic emblem has been a symbol of Election Day for decades, and we are confident this bump will be a must-have for voters of all ages.”
