DeAndre Hopkins immediately makes perfect social media post after Chiefs beat Bucs

New Chiefs WR DeAndre Hopkins is officially having his “Welcome to Kansas City” moment and he quickly took to social media to celebrate his phenomenal effort in the Week 9 win.

Hopkins caught eight passes for 86 yards and two touchdowns in the 30-24 overtime victory, turning in the best play of the night with a deep catch from 35 yards with two defenders draped over him.

He is happy to be working with a team of this caliber and he had his highlights ready to prove it.

With impressive performances both on and off the field, Hopkins made dazzling plays and is already looking like a genius trade signing. Brett Veach has struck gold finding the ideal receiver upgrade, while Hopkins has the best chance of his illustrious career to win a ring.

The first results of the new partnership could not be more promising. Patrick Mahomes didn’t turn the ball over for the first time all year. He threw three TD passes and completed 34 of his 44 attempts. Travis Kelce himself caught fourteen balls for 100 meters and clearly benefited from the extra attention that Hopkins demanded.

If this is a taste of things to come, it will be tough to beat Kansas City. Even on a night where the defense gave up 24 points, an irregular occurrence so far this year, this new offense is good enough to get the job done. Once Isiah Pacheco and possibly Hollywood Brown return, things could be dangerous.

For now, fans can celebrate Hopkins’ breakout game with his new team. The Chiefs remain undefeated and Hopkins has often been the best player on the field. It’s great to have him here in Kansas City.
