Nevadans cast their votes on Election Day

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Voters across Nevada are lining up to cast their ballots Tuesday morning.

From voting questions to state leaders and the presidential campaign, FOX5 Las Vegas is your hub for everything Nevadans need to know, including what’s happening at the polls.

In Clark County, approximately 388,675 ballots were cast in person during early voting. Allegiant Stadium – a polling place for the first time this year – consistently had the highest turnout throughout the morning.

9:50 PM Clark County says the entire state of Nevada has finished voting.

9:26 pm FOX5’s Kim Passoth and Molly McBride are attending both the Republican Party and Democratic Party watch parties.

9:12 pm Officials say the last person in Clark County has voted.

9:02 pm Clark County officials confirmed this 70 polling stations are closed.

8:53 PM Voters are still lining up at the West Flamingo Senior Center, according to an ACLU spokesperson. Officials say about 181,992 people voted on Election Day.

20:28 — Ballots arrive at Clark County elections headquarters. 62 polling stations closed.

7:40 PM — FOX5 looks at the Electoral College map as polls close in Nevada.

7:00 PM — Polls in Clark County are closed! See here where there are still lines. As of 7:02 PM, the attendance total is 175,490.

6:00 PM — 1 hour until the polls close! Nye County voters are waiting more than three hours. When voters stand in line, they are given the opportunity to vote.

5:46 PM — FOX5 was at O’Roarke Elementary School, where wait times were small, but Clark County’s tracker for wait times was over 3 hours. Our Molly McBride has contacted Clark County and we are waiting for a response.

4:46 PM — Clark County reaches nearly 150,000 votes hours before polls close at 7 p.m. As of 4:50 p.m., attendance was 136,100.

2:30 PM — Clark County passed the 100,000 mark with 109,071 votes cast. Wait times still vary from none to about two hours.

1:58 p.m There are now 93,704 votes cast in Clark County, nearly five hours after polls closed. Allegiant Stadium and Arroyo Market Square continue to see the highest attendance throughout the day.

Allegiant Stadium currently has no wait time, while Arroyo Market Square has a wait time of 67 minutes.

12:30 PM — 62,069 votes were cast across the valley. Waiting times still vary from 10 minutes to 2 hours.

10:09 am Clark County confirms Stupak’s wait time was an issue. FOX5 visited the center and noted short lines and much shorter waiting times.

10:00 AM — Stupak Community Center appears to have a waiting time of 566 minutes (over 9 hours).

9:33 am — Wait times in the valley range from about 30 minutes to 90 minutes. More than 33,617 votes have been cast so far.

9:00 am — Jacky Rosen and Sam Brown cast their ballots from opposite sides of the state. Rosen voted at Allegiant Stadium while Brown voted at Reno High School.

In Florida, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump also cast his vote in person.

8:48 am — In Clark County, 24,565 ballots were cast. Wait times peak at about 40 minutes, with the highest at Galleria at Sunset in Henderson.

7:37 am — In the first half hour after the polls opened, more than 5,508 voters turned out throughout Clark County.

7:00 am — Polls are now open in Nevada!
