Every Thursday on ‘Montana This Morning’ we have a weather rookie – with a young person taking the lead on delivering the forecast – today’s newcomer is Emma! Watch the video above to see her give the weather forecast.

Do you have a child in kindergarten through eighth grade who is interested in the weather or wants to be on TV? If so, you need to enter them to become the next KRTV/KXLH Stormtracker Weather Rookie!

Those selected as weather rookies will have the opportunity to visit our studio and record a weather report on Wednesday evenings. That weather report will then be shown on Thursday morning during Montana.

This is a great way for your child to have fun while learning about Montana’s weather, climate and news from the broadcasts.

• Name of parent/guardian
• Child’s name
• Age and grade of the child
• Children’s school

Someone will then contact you to arrange a date for your child to come along and record a weather report for TV!
