Lawyers for the parties explained: “the parties have reached a settlement in principle, subject to the execution of certain written agreements.”

The Pussycat Dolls founder said she spent a significant amount of time on the project.

Robin said the first tour dates had been rescheduled. The new tour dates were announced for 2021. Robin said Nicole subsequently refused to perform unless the deal was renegotiated.

In court documents, Robin said Nicole demanded that her 49 percent cut be increased to 75 percent of profits and that she be given “full creative control” along with “ultimate decision-making power.”

“Tour dates were scheduled but cannot be confirmed due to (Nicole’s) extortion,” the complaint said. Robin said she received a $600,000 advance from Live Nation for the tour and Live Nation was now asking for the advance back.

Nicole was a member of the Pussycat Dolls until 2009.

Nicole denied all allegations of wrongdoing and sued Robin for $1.1 million in damages. Nicole’s lawyers wrote: “(Robin) breached her duties and obligations to (Nicole), seriously damaged PCD’s goodwill and squandered funding for the planned PCD reunion tour, impairing PCD’s ability to conduct business through of self-dealing, waste and fraud was ruined. ”

Her attorney alleged, “First, (Robin) falsely stated to Live Nation, without (Nicole) knowledge or consent, that (Nicole) had agreed to a PCD tour long before she did. (Robin) misrepresented herself to Live Nation to get her to pay a $600,000 advance, which she took, although she (Nicole) never showed what she did with that money. (Robin’s) misrepresentation to Live Nation prevented PCD from negotiating a better deal when (Nicole) joined plans for a PCD reunion tour.

Further: “Second, in marketing materials sent to potential concert buyers, (Nicole) falsely stated that (Nicole) would be part of the reunion, even though (Nicole) did not commit to the reunion until much later. (Robin) did this because she knew using (Nicole’s) name would generate interest and therefore revenue from concert buyers.” Nicole said that when she joined the planned reunion, she did everything she could to make it a success.

Her lawyer noted: “She contributed more than $163,000 of her own money to pay the PCD costs, expenses that (Robin’s) money took or siphoned away could have been used to pay, and which continue to this day today have not been reimbursed. Not only was (Nicole) the only PCD member to personally contribute money to pay for reunion tour costs, she was also the only one who never received an advance on the tour.

Additionally, her attorney argued, “(Nicole) gave up other performance opportunities worth at least $1,000,000 to participate in the PCD reunion, effectively contributing that amount to the project.”

She sued for more than $1.1 million in damages. Both lawsuits have been resolved with the settlement.
