Volleyball No. 12 Oregon swept by No. 2 Nebraska

EUGENE – For the third time in as many games against the top three teams in the country this season, Oregon was swept.

Mimi Colyer had 13 kills on 52 swings and Michelle Ohwobete had 15 digs and eight kills for the No. 12 Ducks, who lost 3-0 (25-12, 26-24, 25-18) to No. 2 Nebraska in front of a UO program record crowd of 8,566 at Matthew Knight Arena Thursday night.

“They don’t give you a lot, so you have to create all the points for yourself and we just couldn’t keep that up long enough,” Oregon coach Matt Ulmer said. “I loved the audience. I wish we could have performed more consistently and better in front of the crowd, but I’m really proud of our girls; I think they fought very hard.”
