Kon Knueppel, a freshman, lived up to the excitement in game one by delivering 22 points, 2 assists and 4 rebounds. Despite Knueppel having a solid performance in the opener, there is one more Duke player every team should worry about when he faces them – and that is Cooper Flagg. Flagg is a big player at 6-foot-4, scored 18 points, had 7 rebounds and 5 assists against Maine.

As for Army, it is also 1-0 heading into tonight’s game, having defeated Albany by a final score of 67-59. Army forward Josh Scovens scored 22 points, but it’s important to remember that the skill level between Duke and Albany will differ significantly for this Army team. Duke is a faster, bigger and more physical team than Albany, and the Blue Devils are arguably one of the best in the entire NCAA. There’s nothing more exciting than these smaller conferences upsetting these big-name schools, but — unfortunately for Army — I don’t think it has what it takes to compete with this Duke team.
