The National Weather Service issued a freeze advisory at 2:32 a.m. Saturday that is in effect for Sunday between midnight and 9 a.m. for Bergen County.

The weather service says: “Temperatures as low as 34 degrees will result in frost formation.”

“Frost can damage sensitive outdoor plants. Sensitive outdoor plants can die if left uncovered,” the weather service said. “Take steps now to protect vulnerable plants from the cold.”
