In Class A, defending champion Westside once again punched its ticket to the semifinals with a 36-0 win over Papio. Omaha North earned a 28-21 victory over Elkhorn South, while Kearney handled Bellevue West 30-7 and Millard South cruised to a 49-10 victory over crosstown rival Millard North.

In Class B, reigning champion Bennington cruised past McCook with a 39-0 shutout victory, Skutt Catholic defeated Waverly 38-21, and Elkhorn North earned a huge 20-6 victory in its long road trip to Scottsbluff.

Across the river in Iowa, Class 4A powerhouse Lewis Central returns to the UNI Dome for the fourth straight season after a 32-25 victory over ADM in Council Bluffs on Friday.
