Corey Smith

• RB Corey Smith rushed for 95 yards on five carries in his collegiate debut.
• Smith had a 78-yard carry in the fourth quarter. The 78-yard rush is Penn State’s longest play of the season and is Penn State’s first rush of more than 70 yards since Nicholas Singleton’s 87-yard run against Utah in the 2023 Rose Bowl.

Tyler Warren

• TE Tyler Warren caught eight passes for 75 yards, including 57 yards after the catch, and added two rushing touchdowns.
• With a catch in the fourth quarter, Warren broke Penn State’s narrow season-ending receptions record, previously held by Mike Gesicki (57; 2017). Warren has 59 catches this season.
• Later in the fourth quarter, Warren broke Penn State’s tight end season and received the receiving yards record, held by Gesicki (679; 2017). Warren owns 681 receiving yards this season.
• Warren scored on a pair of 2-yard rushes in the second quarter. He owns five career rushing touchdowns and twenty total touchdowns (15 receiving, 5 rushing).
• Since 1956, Warren joins Wisconsin’s Stu Voigt (3; 1968) and Maryland’s Chigoziem Okonkwo (3; 2018) as the only Big Ten tight ends with more than three rushing touchdowns in a season.
