Zendaya and Tom Holland reunite in new Christopher Nolan film

Zendaya and Tom Holland are swinging together again on the big screen.

The Challengers actress has joined her Spider-Man: Homecoming costar and real-life boyfriend in the cast of Christopher Nolan’s next film, Entertainment weekly has confirmed.

Anne Hathaway, who worked with the director for the first time The dark knight stands uphas also joined the cast, as well as Matt Damon, who recently worked with the filmmaker last year Oppenheimeris also headlining. Hathaway and Damon both previously played supporting roles in Nolan’s Interstellar.

The film marks the fourth on-screen collaboration between Zendaya and Holland Homecoming and its sequel Spider-Man: Far From Home And Spider-Man: No way home. Nothing else is known at this time about Nolan’s next project, other than that it will be released on July 17, 2026, a week before the fourth edition of the Netherlands. Spider Man outing on July 24.

Although her participation in the superhero sequel has yet to be confirmed, it is likely that Zendaya will reprise her role as MJ in that film, as her character is integral to the personal conflict that unfolds. No way home set up for Peter Parker in the closing moments. (Spoiler alert: MJ no longer has any memory of Peter, or anyone else in his life due to a universe-shaking spell, which seems like a pretty big deal for the titular hero.)

Zendaya will next star opposite Robert Pattinson (who himself worked with Holland in 2013). The devil all the time) in The dramaa romantic movie Dream scenario filmmaker Kristoffer Borgli. She also comes back to play Euphoria‘ main character Rue in the long-delayed third season of the HBO teen drama, which is expected to begin filming in January.

The actress teased the next installation of Euphoria in an interview with EW in October. “I don’t know exactly what the season will look like, but I do know there will be a time jump,” she said. “It will be fascinating to see and understand these characters outside of the context of high school and how all the stuff we saw when they were kids and in high school shapes the maturity that they have and who they become in a lot affects the larger world. I’m also curious to see what happens.”

Meanwhile, Hathaway will appear next Bloemenvalestraata science fiction project by It follows director David Robert Mitchell, due out in May. Earlier this year, Hathaway announced that she had completed filming Mother Maryan epic melodrama The Green Knightby David Lowery.

Damon’s next two projects will both be collaborations with lifelong friend Ben Affleck: crime thriller TEARwhich the Goodwill hunting costars as actors; And Animalswhich Affleck will direct.
