A bye week couldn’t come soon enough for Wisconsin.

The Badgers dropped a disappointing 42-10 loss to Iowa last week, with the Hawkeyes holding them to just a field goal for most of the game. Wisconsin had no momentum on either side of the ball, couldn’t convert on offense and couldn’t stop the defense.

With this second consecutive loss, the Badgers have fallen to 5-4 and ninth in the Big Ten.

After a week off, Wisconsin will host No. 1 Oregon at home next week in what will undoubtedly be their toughest test of the season. With morale low, will the Badgers be able to rally and compete with the undefeated Ducks?
