NFL DFS Best Plays for Week 10 (Fantasy Football)

Each week we review some of the DFS Pass content and discuss some of our most confident plays for Sunday. A lot can change over the weekend, especially with injury news (see Betz’s Injury Blitz podcast) and roster percentages shifting who goes in or out before the roster lock time. Let’s see.

  • Locked cash games
  • CORE plays
  • Game stacks we love
  • Full fades of the week
  • Favorite lever plays
  • Favorite dart throws
  • The boldest calls of the week

Locked cash games

Deposit – I can’t fathom ignoring it Aaron Jones ($6700) cash this week. Minnesota is a TD favorite on the road and the Jaguars may have the league’s worst defense. He is averaging the most chances and opportunities per game of his career and should easily earn $1,000 more in salary. I shut him down (in my own average projections) for 16.5 rush attempts and 4.3 targets, for a total of 27.3 weighted chances. If you’re a fan of weighted odds, this week puts him in an elite group.

Betz – No Olave, no Shaheed, no Bub Means, no Cedrick Wilson, no Jamaal Williams, no Kendre Miller. It’s impossible to scroll past Alvin Kamara ($8,100) on this list after the guy saw 38 chances a week ago. Thirty-eight!

DraftKings core plays

These are the 3-5 players at each position that we have mixed into our cash player pool. Based on salaries, late news, and budget constraints, it’s guaranteed that you won’t be able to fit into all of these positions. But their high floors and team implied totals allow them to play great this week, both in cash and GPPs.

These are simply listed in order of favorite core players. Obviously you can’t fit everyone into a cash lineup and there are salary considerations for paying at each position.

DraftKings QB DEPOSIT BETZ
1 Brock Purdy Brock Purdy
2 Justin Herbert Justin Herbert
3 Sam Darnold Sam Darnold
4 Jayden Daniels Aaron Rodgers
5 Aaron Rodgers MacJones

We’re actually only considering two cash QBs – Brock Purdy with the Niners having an implied team total of almost 30 points or Justin Herbert at home against the Titans. It’s a price issue this week, where we need to save money in a few places – we’d love to play Hurts, Daniels or Allen, but without great value at WR and some incredibly strong RB plays at the top, see the savings at QB necessary for cash games.
