A spokesperson for Paramount Network said: “Kevin played a big role in it Yellowstone‘s success. While we had hoped to continue working with him, unfortunately we couldn’t find a window that worked for him, all the other talent, and our production needs to move forward together. We respect that Kevin has prioritized his new film series and wish him the best.”

Last year, Sheridan told the Hollywood reporter“My opinion of Kevin as an actor has not changed… His creation of John Dutton is symbolic and powerful… and I have never had a problem with Kevin that he and I couldn’t work it out on the phone. But As lawyers Once you get involved, people can stop talking to each other and start saying things that aren’t true and trying to pass the blame based on how the press or the public seems to react and I don’t know of anyone deserves. Despite everything, Costner said he still enjoys playing John Dutton: “I love that character. I love that world. I’m a very script-oriented person.
