Mattel is pulling ‘bad’ dolls after mentioning adult porn site on packaging

Mattel has made the decision Bad dolls after packaging the movie merchandise incorrectly listed a website to an adult porn site instead of the Bad movie website. The film, starring Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo, is an adaptation of the hit Broadway musical (and requires no older than 18 as the film is PG rated).

The toy company apologized for the negative on Sunday.

“Mattel was made aware of a misprint on the packaging of the Mattel Wicked collection dolls, sold primarily in the US, which was intended to direct consumers to the official WickedMovie.com landing page,” the statement read via The Hollywood Reporter. “We deeply regret this unfortunate error and are taking immediate action to resolve it. Parents are advised that the misprinted, incorrect website is not suitable for children. Consumers who already own the product are advised to discard the product packaging or hide the link and should contact Mattel customer service for further information.”

The character dolls with the mislabeled packaging include fashion and singing dolls, along with collectible variants including Grande’s Glinda and Erivo’s Elphaba dolls. As for the misprint, those wanting information about the film should visit the film’s official site, Wickedmovie.com. The erroneous website listed on the erroneous packaging that is currently being removed omitted the crucial “movie” part of the URL. Do what you want with that.
