Restock, stock off after the Jets’ loss to the Cardinals

It was another bad day at the office for the New York Jets in Week 10.

The Arizona Cardinals (6-4) were done as the 31-6 final tells. On the other hand, the Jets (3-7) clearly weren’t.

Every outing was a total team effort. Individually, certain players stand out for better or worse. That was the case in Arizona.

With that, here is Jets Wire’s stock report after their loss to the Cardinals:

Stock down: QB Aaron Rodgers

Another ugly day, and fair or not (it’s fair), the Jets only scored six points on offense. Rodgers lost a fumble, went 22-for-35 with just 151 yards. In particular, Rodgers was brutal every time he was bombed. Under pressure he can no longer find options.

Stock lower: DE Javon Kinlaw

Another game, another problem with missed tackles. Kinlaw got on the board with three totals, but missed two. According to Pro Football Focus stats, Kinlaw was the Jets’ worst defensive player on the day with a 29.8 overall grade.

Stock down: S Tony Adams

The image above gives you a hint: Missed tackles.

Adams made ten tackles… but the rest of his appearance was ugly. He was docked for three missed tackles and Adams was the closest defender on three passes from Arizona quarterback Kyler Murray. All three of these have been completed.

Stock to: OL John Simpson

In his return from injury, the guard was a bright spot. The Jets’ offense passed the ball far too often, and while Simpson was flagged once against the Cardinals, he was otherwise a rock. Simpson’s overall PFF grade of 85.4 was the best on New York’s roster.

Stock down: WR Davante Adams

Only six catches for 31 yards… on 13 targets? That was more than double the next player closest to the Jets offense (Garrett Wilson-6) and Adams was just a waste of a pickup for Gang Green at this point.

Hit: RB Breece Hall

Hall had just 10 carries, but posted 52 yards (5.2 average). Those are solid numbers. In the passing attack, Hall also hauled in four catches for 31 yards.

Nothing really flashy… but compared to the rest of the Jets offense? It is.

Head coach Jeff Ulbrich: F

The Jets weren’t ready to play from the start. The Cardinals had three 70-yard touchdown drives. The tackling was terrible all around, which led to that. We’ve already beaten New York’s offense pretty badly.

Ulbrich did a terrible job.

Stocked to: Spencer Shrader

Shrader made two kicks. The Jets’ best player was the rookie kicker.
