Dave Portnoy and Josh Richards are the ultimate defenders of Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia after her split from Zach Bryan. The lyrics also describe how 22-year-old Richards chose to “sit it out” this time, “because all we need is me.” Richards has reportedly signed with Warner Music Group, which could explain why the original song “Smallest Man” was removed from YouTube for copyright reasons.

Another line in “Country Diddy” reads: “Offered Bri $13 million just to seal her trap / Then she turned around and said, “Slide it up, a–.”.”

Bryan announced his divorce from LaPaglia in a social media post late last month. LaPaglia claimed she was “blindsided” by the announcement and claimed she and Bryan agreed to keep news of the breakup a secret.

During the November 7 episode of “BFFs,” LaPaglia claimed she was “emotionally abused” by Bryan. “The last year of my life was the hardest year of my life, dealing with the abuse from this guy,” she claimed on the podcast. “I’m still scared of him, my brain has been rewired. I’m afraid of making him angry. Last week I didn’t want to talk about it because I was scared.”

On Bryan allegedly offering LaPaglia money for a signed NDA, LaPaglia said, “I still said your money. You made the women before me believe they had no other choice. And to take money from you, to write down their experiences, to draw what they went through, you get to go away and sing your little songs on stage like you’re a good guy.

During the Nov. 6 episode of “BFFs,” LaPaglia said she, Portnoy and Richards were blocked on social media by Bryan.

Bryan revealed his split from LaPaglia via an Instagram Story on October 22 after the pair dated for over a year.
