NV Energy is reporting multiple power outages in Washoe, Douglas and Storey counties, as well as the Carson City area, currently affecting more than 7,645+ customers.

The outages, located in zip codes 89509, 89511, 89521, 89701, 89703, 80706, 89410, 89460, 89705 and 89440, started just before 9 a.m. on Monday.

The cause of the outage is unknown and is being investigated.
