Quarterbacks

Los Angeles and Miami lead their teams into the match.

Stafford has completed 65.9% of his passes for 1,969 yards, nine touchdowns and six interceptions. As a runner he added nothing. Stafford has scored at least 18 points over the last two weeks, which is in line when the Rams got their top two receivers back.

Tagovailoa has completed 72.7% of his passes for 948 yards, five touchdowns and three interceptions. He added 44 rushing yards. Since returning from his concussion, Tagovailoa has scored 33 points in two games.

This is a pretty average matchup for Tagovailoa, as Los Angeles allows 16 fantasy points per game. He is projected at 19 fantasy points. It’s a tough matchup for Stafford, as Miami is only allowing 12 points per game. He is projected at 16 points.

If I had to decide between the two, I’d take Tagovailoa, but I’m not as high on him as the projections say. I think he’ll only be a point or two better than Stafford, and it wouldn’t be too surprising if Stafford scores more tonight.

Running backs

is the workhorse for the Rams. is the only other defenseman with a touch in the past three games, and he has played just nine in that span.

is the lead back for Miami. has double-digit touches in three straight games, while registering 13 touches in the past three games.

Williams has racked up 602 yards and eight touchdowns in 161 attempts this season. He has 116 receiving yards and two scores on 20 grabs and 25 targets. Williams has scored in double figures in every game as a fantasy player and scored at least once in every game before Week 9.

Corum has 72 rushing yards on 21 attempts this season, while catching two passes for another 17 yards.

Achane has 420 rushing yards and two scores on 93 attempts this season. He has added 302 receiving yards and three touchdowns on 37 receptions and 42 targets. Since Tagovailoa returned, Achane has scored 59 fantasy points over two games.

Mostert has 214 rushing yards and two scores on 55 attempts, along with 71 receiving yards on seven grabs and nine targets. Mostert has scored 25 fantasy points over the past two weeks.

Wright has rushed for 208 yards, but no scores, on 42 attempts. He hasn’t gotten a pass yet.

The matchup for the Rams’ running backs is very favorable, as Miami allows 25 fantasy points per game. Williams is projected at 21 PPR fantasy points, while Corum is at three. The Dolphins’ backs have an average matchup, with LA giving up 22 points per week. Achane is projected at 21 points, Mostert at 10 and Wright doesn’t crack the top 53.

I’d also take Williams first in the favorable matchup – he’s a fantasy player to start regardless of the matchup. Achane is another player who should start and should have another good fantasy showing tonight.

After that, I love Mostert. He was a flex option this week but is a safer play in deeper leagues.

In my opinion, Wright also comes before Corum. Neither are real fantasy starting options tonight (outside of the deepest leagues).

Wide receivers

and will lead the Rams’ wideouts in this one. and were on the injury report, but are both active. and are a few other options.

is Miami’s best wideout, but he is questionable due to a wrist injury late in the week. , Jr. and are the only other receivers to have played in each of the past three games.

Kupp has 302 yards and two touchdowns on 34 receptions and 49 targets this season. He has completed 22 goals in the last two weeks, including 14 a week ago.

Nacua has 152 yards on 12 catches and 17 targets this season. He has scored 13 goals in the past two games, with last week’s outing cut short due to an exclusion.

Robinson passed for 94 yards and two scores on six grabs and nine targets, while Nacua was out for much of last week’s game. He had six goals in the past two weeks.

Johnson allowed five goals in that game, but only one the week Nacua and Kupp returned. Atwell had three goals last week, and two the week before that.

Hill has 446 yards, but just one score, on 34 catches and 55 targets this season. Since Tagovailoa returned, Hill has scored 14 goals across two games.

Waddle is at 310 yards and a touchdown on 28 catches and 38 targets. He has completed eight goals in the last two weeks, but only two last week.

Beckham has 15 yards on three catches and seven targets this season. He got three of those targets last week. No other Miami wideout had a target last week.

It’s a slightly above-average matchup for the Dolphins’ wideouts, with LA allowing 34 fantasy points per game. Miami’s defense is giving up just 26 points per week, one of the best marks in the league in Week 10.

Kupp is projected at 17 PPR points, while Nacua is at 16 and Hill at 15. Waddle is at 11 points, while Robinson checks in with eight. No other wideouts crack the top 54.

If Hill is able to compete, I actually like him the most in tonight’s game, although Nacua and Kupp are very close. I like that Nacua is outperforming Kupp, but again just a little bit.

Waddle is next for me, and I wouldn’t mind giving him a flexible start in a standard league given the matchup. However, I would be much better off playing him in a deeper league. With Hill out, I think Waddle should start in all competitions with confidence.

Robinson, Whittington, Beckham, Johnson and Atwell is how I would round things up, but in my eyes they are all just deep-league options. If Hill is out, I would bump Beckham above Whittington and Robinson, but I still don’t want to start Beckham outside the deeper leagues.

Tight ends

is the best fantasy TE for the Dolphins. He has 302 yards and a touchdown on 30 catches and 40 targets. Smith has set six goals each of the last two weeks.

is the best LA tight end. He has 214 yards on 23 receptions and 36 targets this season. Parkinson has scored just four goals in the last three games, with zero coming in last week’s game.

It’s a favorable matchup for Smith, with LA allowing 15 fantasy points per game. Smith is projected at 11 PPR fantasy points. Miami is giving up 10 fantasy points per game, which equates to a below-average matchup for Parkinson. The LA tight end is projected at just five fantasy points.

Smith is also my favorite fantasy tight end tonight, and I like him more than a lot of receivers and a few running backs. I would avoid playing Parkinson’s in any competition if I could.

Kickers

kicks for LA, while the Miami kicker.

Karty is 11 of 13 on his field goals and 15 of 17 on his extra points. Sanders is 14 of 18 on his field goals and has made all 10 of his extra points.

Sanders and Karty are both projected at seven fantasy points. I like Karty a little more tonight, but I wouldn’t mind playing either one.

Defense/Special Teams

So far this season, the Rams are allowing 360.8 yards and 24.3 points per game. Miami gives up 303.1 yards and 23.4 points.

Los Angeles has 11 takeaways and nine giveaways this season. The Dolphins have just six takeaways and nine giveaways.

Both defenses are projected at six fantasy points. I’ve been going back and forth on this game all week, but I think the Rams get the job done. I still wouldn’t mind playing D/ST tonight.
