The Philadelphia 76ers will take on the New York Knicks on Tuesday to open group play in the second annual NBA Cup and will look to build on their win over the Charlotte Hornets on Sunday.

The Sixers will be a bit healthier when they take on the Knicks, as they should be able to welcome a certain superstar big man into the lineup for the first time this season.

Joel Embiid, who missed the first nine games of the season due to left knee rehabilitation and a three-game suspension, is not listed on the injury report against the Knicks. This will be a big boost for a 2-7 Sixers team that has struggled to find its footing to start the season.

Tyrese Maxey remains out with a right hamstring strain, but his reevaluation should happen soon.

With Embiid back in the fold, the Sixers look to eliminate a mediocre Knicks team on Tuesday at 7:30 PM EST.
