On Monday, November 11, the Transformers alum broke the news that she’s expecting her first child with Machine Gun Kelly — and she announced her pregnancy with a provocative post. Fox posed completely nude and covered in black paint as she cradled her baby bump.

The Jennifer’s body star knelt on the floor in a sea of ​​black paint in the nude photo on Instagram, which showed her placing her hands on her chest and her growing belly. Fox, who wore her dark hair parted in the middle, stuck with the moody colorscape by covering her body in glossy black paint. A second photo captured in black and white the moment she took a pregnancy test and realized she was expecting a baby.

Fox, who tagged Machine Gun Kelly in the post, appeared to reference her and the musician’s apparent miscarriage in the caption. “Nothing is ever truly lost. Welcome back,” she wrote alongside the emotional carousel, adding an angel baby emoji. She also added MGK’s song ‘Last November’, which is supposedly about the couple who lose a baby, to the post. While neither Fox nor MGK have spoken publicly about losing a child, the rapper previously fueled speculation when he dedicated the heartbreaking song to his “unborn child” during a performance at the 2022 Billboard Music Awards.

Meanwhile, Fox seemingly addressed her pregnancy loss in her poetry book Pretty boys are toxicwriting: “There’s an ultrasound next to your bed, 10 weeks and 1 day…do you think if she could have done that she would have left a suicide note?” in one poem.
