SIOUX FALLS SD (KELO) – Organizers of a two-day music festival called “Rock the Country” have announced the acts coming to Sioux Falls.

CNN and Fox: Call for Homeland Security

A variety of rock and country acts will be heading to Sioux Falls July 18-19. Some of the bigger acts include Kid Rock and Nickelback. Kid Rock will take the stage on Friday and rock band Nickelback will perform on Saturday evening.

The other artists performing include:

Kyle Heino, VP of Marketing at Pepper Entertainment, told KELOLAND News that the festival is a mix of rock and country music.

Public ticket sales begin Friday at 10 a.m. CST. In addition to GA, VIP and elevated reserved seating, RV and car camping will be available at each location. Hotel packages are also available this year. All tickets can be purchased at rockthecountry.com.

The acts will perform at the WH Lyon Fairgrounds, where more than 30,000 people are expected to attend. More information can be found on the event website.

Rock The Country has partnered with local Sioux Falls promoter, Pepper Entertainment.

Other cities hosting the two-day event include Knoxville, Tennessee, Ocala, Florida, Hastings, Michigan, Little Rock, Arkansas and York, Pennsylvania.
