Fall temperatures return; keeping an eye on the Caribbean

The tropical season is coming to an end and yet here we are looking at another place in the Caribbean. Could that be the formation of Sara, and where does it go? Fall temperatures return late this week and into the weekend.

Tonight: Mostly clear to partly cloudy with locally dense fog formation.

Wednesday: Foggy early, then partly cloudy and windy with a chance of a few showers. Morning lows in the 50s and 60s for Southeast Georgia, and 60s for Northeast Florida. Afternoon highs in the 70s to low 80s. Wind from the northeast, 25-20 km/h, with stronger gusts. There may be some showers under the onshore flow, 20 percent.

Work Week: Fall temperatures return late this week and this weekend.

Tropics: increasing opportunities for development in the Caribbean. Sara could form. Environmental conditions appear conducive to development and a tropical depression is likely to form within the next two to three days as the system slowly moves westward into the western Caribbean Sea.

After that, further development is likely as the disturbance meanders across the western Caribbean Sea through the weekend.

The chance of formation during 48 hours is 60% and the chance of formation during 7 days is 90%.
