No thoughts,” he said. “Except maybe I’m being tricked. That’s not the way I wake up and think, “Is this the day I’m asked to be the sexiest man alive?” And yet it was the day you did it. Krasinski joins the esteemed ranks of fellow Hollywood stars who have taken on the mantle of Sexiest Man Alive since the annual award was first presented in 1985. Since 2014, the honor has gone to Chris Hemsworth, David Beckham, Dwayne “The Rock Johnson, Blake Shelton, Idris Elba, John Legend, Michael B. Jordan, Paul Rudd, Chris Evans and last year’s recipient Patrick Dempsey.

But true to form, Krasinski joked when asked if his new wife-approved title will change anything about their life together. “I think that will make me do more house chores,” he joked. “When this comes out, she’s like, ‘Okay, that means you’re really going to earn it here at home.’”
