Carl Froch has changed his stance when it comes to Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson.

Paul and Tyson will battle Friday at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, in eight two-minute rounds in a match streamed live on Netflix.

It’s a showdown that has divided opinions within the sport, due to the huge age difference between the fighters and the fact that ‘Iron Mike’ hasn’t fought professionally since 2005.

Former super-middleweight world champion Froch didn’t hesitate when asked about his prediction for the fight last year. He confidently sided with one man while speaking to OLBG.

“Mike Tyson would really knock him out. Dangerous move for Jake Paul, he is absolutely useless, he didn’t know he was still fighting!”

With just days to go until the showdown, Froch has now made an about-face, revealing on his Froch On Fighting YouTube channel that he now believes ‘The Problem Child’ will win.

“Mike Tyson shouldn’t be there with a young man. When he falls unconscious and is seriously injured, he is knocked unconscious by a guy who used to be a TikTok dancer and can’t box. Should Mike Tyson really compete with Jake Paul? It’s a shame it has come to this.

“It would be fantastic if Tyson goes in there and punches him and takes a few shots, but the reality is I don’t think he should catch him.

“I think it’s going to be a one-sided shoutout, and Jake Paul is going to beat him in four or five rounds, because Mike Tyson is going to be absolutely destroyed and probably fall over.”

All will be revealed when the fight takes place on Friday, and boxing legend Oscar De La Hoya has summed up Paul’s skills in just four words ahead of the fight.
