Is Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson free to watch on Netflix?

Mike Tyson and Jake Paul will meet in a divisive fight this week at the Dallas Cowboys stadium in Texas.

Tyson, 58, and YouTube star Paul, 27, were due to fight in July but had to postpone the fight when the heavyweight icon suffered health problems.

In late May, Tyson suffered a flare-up of an ulcer during a flight, causing the bout to be moved to this week. Assuming there are no late issues, the fight will finally go ahead on Friday and be streamed live on Netflix in an unprecedented fashion.

It will be Tyson’s first professional fight since 2005, while Paul won 10-1 as a professional boxer.

Here’s everything you need to know about how to watch the fight on Netflix.

How can I watch the fight?

Paul vs Tyson will stream live on Netflix in an unprecedented way.

The fight will not be on pay-per-view; it will be available to all existing and new subscribers.

When is the fight?

The fight will take place on Friday, November 15 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. The stadium, with a capacity of 80,000, is home to the NFL’s Dallas Cowboys.

The event kicks off on Saturday, November 16 at 1am GMT (5pm PT, 7pm CT, 8pm ET Friday). No time has yet been announced for the ring walks between Paul and Tyson, but they are expected around 4am GMT on Saturday (8pm PT, 10pm CT, 11pm ET on Friday).

What are the rules?

The fight lasts eight two-minute rounds and knockouts are allowed. Contrary to rumors, the boxers will not be wearing headguards, although their gloves will weigh 14oz – larger than the standard 10oz versions.

Although the fight purses have not been officially announced, Paul claimed at a press conference in August: “I’m here to make $40 million and take out a legend.” $40 million equates to around £31.1 million, while Tyson will earn around $20 million (£15.4 million), according to friend and former UFC champion Henry Cejudo.
