Bridget Jones opens her diary again.

Universal Pictures and Peacock have released the trailer for Bridget Jones: Crazy about the boythe fourth film in Renée Zellweger’s romantic comedy series. The two-time Oscar winner, 55, reunites with Hugh Grant as Daniel Cleaver in the new film.

The trailer shows Bridget as she struggles with life as a widow and mother of two young children, years after the death of series favorite Mark (Colin Firth). As Bridget heads back out, she begins to bond with two new men in her life, a younger man played by Leo Woodall (The White Lotus) as well as her son’s science teacher, played by Chiwetel Ejiofor.

“Bridget returns to work and even tries out the dating apps, where she is soon pursued by a dreamy and enthusiastic younger man,” reads the film’s official synopsis. Now juggling work, home, and romance, Bridget struggles with the judgment of the perfect moms at school, worries about Billy as he struggles with his father’s absence, and becomes involved in a series of awkward interactions with the rational moms of her son. -error science teacher.”

Universal first announced that Zellweger will reprise her titular role as Bridget Jones in a new film based on the books by Helen Fielding on April 9.

Crazy about the boy marks the fourth film of the series. It is an adaptation of author Fielding’s 2013 novel of the same name, directed by Michael Morris. Isla Fisher also joins the cast as a newcomer to the series, alongside Ejiofor, 47, and Woodall, 28. Emma Thompson, who co-wrote and appeared in the 2016 film Bridget Jones’ babyalso reprises her role as Doctor Rawlings in the new film.

Grant, 63, told PEOPLE in April that the new film is “very moving and funny” and noted that author Fielding based the story on her own experiences “raising two children alone after her husband died.” “And so Bridget is busy raising two kids and wondering if she should ever start dating again,” he said. “It’s a very good script.”
