Amazon launches Haul to compete with Temu’s low prices

Amazon.com Inc. has launched an online store designed to compete with Temu, the discount shopping app that has gained traction among shoppers who trade longer shipping times for rock-bottom prices.

Amazon describes Haul, which is available in beta for shoppers using the company’s smartphone app or mobile browser, as an “engaging shopping experience that brings lower-priced products to one convenient destination.” Purchases are delivered within one to two weeks. The company charges a shipping fee of $3.99, which is waived for orders over $25.
