Starbucks is dropping holiday cups for hot and cold drinks

Starbucks released a holiday-themed cup collection at the beginning of the month to get the cheer started early.

Baristas prepare your drink in one of four different custom hot cups or one custom cold cup, depending on your drink. Most, if not all, of the cup designs were colored with cranberry red, Starbucks’ signature green, or white in some capacity.

“We love finding these real moments of joy and coffee to inspire creatives,” Starbucks creative director Kristy Cameron said in a statement. “Whether growing coffee trees, roasting beans, roasting cups or glowing lamps – we wanted to share the warmth of our coffee house and the anticipation of the arrival of the red cups with our customers and partners. ”

This year’s theme, “Merrier Together,” recognizes the community the holidays bring when people unite through song, she said.

“We kept thinking about the idea of voices coming together, like our siren singing,” Cameron said. “It feels musical in a way.”
