Bon Jovi created a new generation of fans in 2000 with their smash single “It’s My Life,” the rock band’s highest-charting song since their iconic string of hits in the 1980s and 1990s. Now, another twenty years later, ‘It’s My Life’ itself is given new life in the form of ‘Now or Never’, a remix of the Bon Jovi hit fronted by Miami-born hitmaker Pitbull.

First teased when Pitbull released Jon Bon Jovi at a September concert, “Now or Never” is an upbeat, dancefloor-ready reinterpretation of the Bon Jovi hit that fits naturally into Pitbull’s party-oriented discography. But beyond having fun, Pitbull takes a moment to reflect on how far he’s come – and how important it is to stand tall no matter what life throws at you.

“The world always comes to an end / Don’t let it scare you away from life / Look at me, mama, against all odds your little boy did it,” he raps on the track. “Every day I say thank you / Every day I say thank you, every day Thanksgiving.”

The song arrives as Pitbull and Jon Bon Jovi take the stage on the 25th^e annual Latin Grammy Awards in Mr.’s hometown Worldwide, Miami. While Pitbull is no stranger to the Latin Grammys, it will be Bon Jovi’s first foray into the arena.

The Cuban-American rapper has been quite busy in recent months. He toured with Enrique Iglesias and Ricky Martin earlier this year, and in late summer he toured the country on his solo Party After Dark Tour. On November 8, he launched his latest Las Vegas residency, Pitbull: Vegas After Dark – The Residency, marking his first stint in Vegas since his Pitbull: Time of Our Lives residency that ran from 2015 through 2019. Bon Jovi meanwhile, talked about their legendary rise to fame in the Hulu docuseries Thank You, Good Night: The Bon Jovi Story and released their sixteenth album Forever in June.
