Bayern Munich have announced that João Palhinha has returned to the club after being released from his international role due to injury.

He was included in the Portuguese squad for their final Nations League matches against Poland and Croatia.

But Bayern have now confirmed he has returned to Bavaria due to a hamstring injury.

No timeline has yet been posted on how long the former Fulham man could be sidelined.
