Kiyan Anthony chooses a university: how and when to look

Syracuse, NY – Kiyan Anthony will reveal his college choice on his father’s “7PM in Brooklyn” podcast on Friday.

Anthony, the son of former SU great Carmelo Anthony, has said he will choose between Syracuse and Southern California.

Fans can access the podcast, posted to YouTube, starting at 5:30 p.m., according to a tweet from the show.

Kiyan Anthony is a 6-foot-1 guard in the Class of 2025. The 247sports.com composite rankings rank Anthony at No. 32 in the class. Currently, that is three spots behind Sadiq White, a 6-8 forward ranked No. 29 in the class who has already committed to the Dutch team.

SU also has commitments from Luke Fennell, a 6-6 combo guard from Australia, and Aaron Womack, a 6-6 small forward from Milwaukee.

Without Anthony, Syracuse is currently ranked 17th in high school prospects for 2025, according to 247sports.com. It would undoubtedly go a step further if Anthony chooses Syracuse.
