A fiber cut at Verizon has led to service disruptions in parts of four states, including West Virginia.

The company did not specify where the incident occurred, but said it is affecting wireless customers in West Virginia, Ohio, Kentucky and Pennsylvania, according to an alert from Verizon.

Verizon said engineers are currently working with vendor partners to resolve the issue.

A timetable for when service would be restored was not immediately known.
