    Lawson Luckie sat in a heavy rainstorm in the stands at Sanford Stadium two years ago as Georgia Football and Tennessee battled it out in a heavyweight battle.

    “It was electric,” said Luckie, now a second-year Bulldogs tight end. “That was the best homely atmosphere I’ve ever seen. I loved it last time.”

    Georgia was ranked atop the coaches poll and AP poll in that 2022 game and No. 3 in the College Football Playoff rankings when it defeated CFP No. 1 Tennessee 27-13.

    It turns out to be another eardrum-shredding crowd Saturday night when the now No. 12 CFP Bulldogs take on No. 7 Tennessee with playoff implications on the line.

    “We’ve been in all our systems for a while,” fourth-year Tennessee coach Josh Heupel said. ‘This football match is different from the previous ones. We are still facing a great opponent. You have to deal with everything that comes with playing in a game like this. You earn the right to play in big football games by what you do during the season. …In these games you have to do normal things at a very high level.”
