Changes are coming as a few cold fronts arrive in the coming days. Here’s the latest:

Winds will continue to increase on Sunday evening, with gusts of up to 40 kilometers per hour possible. Make sure you tie up any loose garden items or clear out any Christmas decorations before you go to bed.

Rain chances will gradually increase overnight and Monday morning. Light, light showers are possible this evening, especially after 8pm. A thin, broken line of rain and storms is expected to develop ahead of the first cold front, which moves across the area from west to east on Monday morning. The current time frame in which this activity moves through the San Antonio area is scheduled from 6am to 9am, which would make for a messy morning commute, so plan ahead!

Skies are expected to clear by Monday afternoon as drier air moves in, which will keep highs still reaching into the unseasonably warm (but pleasant) upper 70s in San Antonio.

A cold morning Tuesday (near 50°) will turn into another warm afternoon before a second, stronger cold front arrives early Wednesday. No rain, but noticeably cooler air moving into South Central Texas, with lows in the 40s and highs in the 60s expected for the second half of the week and total sunshine.
