Taylor Swift is halfway through her six Eras Tour shows in Toronto!

On Saturday, November 16, the 34-year-old “I Can Do It with a Broken Heart” singer thrilled the sold-out crowd at Toronto’s Rogers Center with her career-spanning 45-song setlist, including two surprise mashups and some famous faces in the crowd.

Mariska Hargitay – whose character plays Olivia Benson Law and order: SVU inspired the name of one of Swift’s cats — posting an adorable Instagram photo of herself and her husband, Peter Hermann, at the concert.

“Taylor,” Hargitay, 60, simply captioned the post. Previously, she had her arm covered in friendship bracelets – a staple at Eras Tour shows – on display in another photo, captioned: ‘Toronto And that’s just one hand….. 💖🙏🏼📿.’

The actress has been a long-time fan of the singer and also named her cat Karma at the end of 2023, after Swift’s song ‘Karma’.

Fans also shared photos of Zooey Deschanel and fiance Jonathan Scott in the audience at the show in posts on X (formerly Twitter) on Saturday night.

Posted in an instant on X, the New girl The actress, 44, wore a blue jacket with a black collar and a black headband, while Scott, 46, wore a brown jacket and a black shirt.

In another television connection, Swift made a cameo New girl in the show’s second season, as a character named Elaine.

During the show, Swift brought out her opening act Gracie Abrams for an acoustic guitar mashup of their song “us” and Swift’s 1989 song “Out of the Woods.” The pop superstar followed the duet with a solo acoustic piano mashup of “You’re On Your Own, Kid” from Midnights and “long story short” by evermeer.

The acoustic moments came during the surprise song portion, in which Swift selects two songs or creates two new mashups at each tour stop just for that night’s audience to build a unique memory for them.

Two days earlier, on November 14, the Reputation singer dished out two other surprising mashups for the first Toronto audience: “My Boy Only Breaks His Favorite Toys” with “This Is Why We Can’t Have Nice Things” on guitar, plus “False God” featuring “It’s the Damn Season” on piano.

The 14-time Grammy winner then delivered two more mashups, blending, on November 15 “I Don’t Want to Live Forever” with “Mine” on guitar, followed by “always” and “Peter” on piano.

Swift was warmly welcomed to Canada ahead of her six-show run in Toronto, with Rogers Center wrapping the stadium in a giant Eras Tour friendship bracelet that was ceremonially passed from the past two Eras Tour venues in Indianapolis and New Orleans.

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau also heralded Swift’s visit with a Reputation-inspired welcome message on X (formerly Twitter).

“We’ve got your back, @taylorswift13. Good choice to complete the Eras Tour in Canada. Has this always been your end game? #TorontoVancouver,” Trudeau wrote, referencing Swift’s songs “…Ready For It?” and “End Game” with Ed Sheeran and Future.

Ahead of her third performance in Toronto on Saturday, Swift teased the physical release of TTPD: The Anthology as well as the Eras Tour book. “Only 13 days until The Department of Martyred Poets: The Anthology on vinyl and CD AND the official Eras Tour Book are all available for the first time from @target! 🎁 🤍. International info coming soon 🫶,” she wrote on Instagram.

Swift will conclude the Eras Tour, which began in March 2023, with three more shows in Toronto and then three final shows in Vancouver.

Fans are speculating that Swift may make an appearance before the tour ends or at the final show on December 8 Reputation (Taylor’s version) and/or Taylor Swift (Taylor’s version) – the reissues of her sixth and first studio albums.

Since the start of the tour twenty months ago, Swift has been released Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) in July 2023, 1989 (Taylor’s version) in October 2023 and her 11th studio album The department of tortured poets April 2024.
