A large piece of metal, along with some debris, fell from the roof of AT&T Stadium as it was being opened hours ahead of Monday night’s game between the Dallas Cowboys and the Houston Texans.

There were no injuries and the roof was subsequently closed and will remain so for the duration of the match.

“We can confirm that a piece of metal became loose and fell onto the field (with some additional small debris) while the roof was in the process of opening,” the Cowboys said in a statement. “There have been no injuries. It remains under investigation and a decision will be made on the possibility of safely reopening the roof.”

AT&T Stadium is a retractable roof arena in Arlington, Texas, and has been the home of the Cowboys since its completion in the spring of 2009.

Nicknamed “Jerry World” in reference to stadium owner and Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, AT&T Stadium seats 80,000 people for football games.

The Texans (6-4) and Cowboys (3-6) are scheduled to kick off at 8:15 PM ET.
