Michael Bublé shoots back to number 1 in several American charts

Michael Bublé is one of a number of musicians returning to the Billboard graphs when the year comes to an end. More than a decade ago, he released what has become one of the best-charting Christmas albums of all time, the simply titled Christmas. That streak snaps back at a number of points as November rolls around, with its ascent happening especially early – and quickly – in 2024.

Christmas is present on five charts in the US this week. It returns to three of them, as the title was already present on the other two last time. It’s on those few rosters that the seasonal bestseller shoots to the top.

Bublé currently rules two Billboard graphs with Christmasthat didn’t take long to become champion again. With this frame, the CD becomes the star at the top of the tree on both traditional jazz albums and jazz albums. It rises from No. 4 to No. 1 on the first list, and from No. 5 to the throne on the last list.

Chance, Christmas spent the same amount of time at number 1 on both charts. Two of them have now been ruled Billboards three rankings that focus on full-lengths in the jazz world – which sometimes include holiday collections – for 46 frames.

While it may have earned the exact same number of turns atop both rankings, Bublé’s Christmas spent more time on one schedule than the other. The crooner’s bestseller spent no less than 114 weeks on the Traditional Jazz Albums list and 130 weeks on the Jazz Albums list.

As it climbs as high as it can on those two jazz charts, Christmas also tops three more lists. It re-enters the Vinyl Albums rankings at number 14 and returns to the Top Album Sales chart at number 28.

The same project is also back on the Billboard 200 this week. Bublé’s holiday classic once again enters the most competitive ranking of the country’s most consumed albums at No. 72, which is certainly just the start of the set. Luminate reports that in the last tracking frame Christmas Moved 13,100 equivalent units, of which 3,200 were actual purchases.
