Matt Rife Announces ‘Stay Golden Tour’, MSG Show 2025. Buy tickets now

Matt Rife will have many more fans to choose from for his public work next year.

The 29-year-old comedian just announced that he will be playing arenas across North America on his ‘Stay Golden Tour’ in 2025.

That includes a stop at New York City’s iconic Madison Square Garden on Saturday, July 19.

“I’m so excited to see you all for even bigger and better shows!” Rife shared on Instagram. “Let’s have the evening of our lives!”

And while the stand-up star has risen exponentially over the past two years, he can still make a fool of himself, as evidenced by this tongue-in-cheek NSFW promotional video in which he pretends to snort cocaine and addresses the haters — yes, he masturbates to in response to an angry Marc Maron tweet – and wisely talks about how he ‘broke a few hearts’ along the way (one woman leaves his hotel room while another enters).

Do you want to see the freewheeling strip live?

You’re in luck.

Fans can purchase tickets to all upcoming Matt Rife shows on sites like Vivid Seats; the official sale for the ‘Stay Golden Tour’ is Friday, November 22.

Vivid Seats is a secondary market ticketing platform and prices may be higher or lower than face value depending on demand.

They have a 100% Buyer Guarantee, which states that your transaction will be secure and delivered before the event.

Matt Rife comedy specials

Rife has had quite a whirlwind decade so far.

After appearing on shows like MTV’s “Wild ‘n Out” and NBC’s “Bring The Funny,” Rife found his following on TikTok and YouTube this year.

If you want to stream longer specials from him on YouTube and Netflix, you can find them here:

Matt Rife controversy

Rife dropped his first Netflix special in 2023 and viewers were upset shortly after it hit the streamer.

After describing the state of Maryland to the crowd, he delved into an anecdote about a waitress he encountered in the state with a black eye.

“My guy, who I was with, said, ‘Yeah, I feel bad for her, man, I feel like they should put her in the kitchen or somewhere where no one has to see her face,’” Rife joked .

“And I thought, ‘Yeah, but I feel like if she could cook, she wouldn’t have that black eye.'”

Many of his fans didn’t appreciate it.

“The way women made Matt Rife popular and as soon as he gets a comedy special on Netflix he immediately betrays them with a crazy joke about domestic violence,” said a user on X (formerly Twitter).

In response, Rife hit back with a silly apology, offering special needs helmets to those who were offended.

Matt Rife upcoming projects

Rife, who counts Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis as fans — as evidenced by his goofy, 2.5-minute tour announcement video from last year — has quite a few irons in the fire.

Here are all of Rife’s TV and film roles on the horizon courtesy of IMDb.

“Prisoned Inn” is a science fiction thriller about an American cycling team trapped in a historic lodge during a training camp high in remote European mountains. After team members die mysteriously, two rival teammates collide as they fight for survival and try to figure out what’s killing everyone on the team.

“Candy Flip” has no significant story at this point; The film’s IMDb says the “plot is kept under wraps.” Cole Carter, Danielle Loving and Jessica Belkin star.

“Rolling loudly” Rife plays a father who takes his young son to a wild hip-hop festival, which leads to chaos as they navigate the crowds, safety and family dynamics with eccentric companions.

“I live here now” tells the story of a woman (Madeline Brewer) who becomes trapped in a remote hotel where the violent echoes of her past come to life, blurring the lines between her darkest nightmares and the waking world.
