Lakers vs. Jazz: prediction, choices, chances

The Los Angeles Lakers host the Utah Jazz on Tuesday, and if you’re looking to do some last-minute betting research, you’re in luck! We’ll give you the latest point spreads, moneyline odds and over/under numbers, as well as the information you need to make the smartest bet.

The Lakers return home after a quick two-game road trip with a 9-4 record and a five-game winning streak, and they will look to make it six straight wins in what will be their second group match against the Emirates. NBA Cup. They won their first such game Friday against the San Antonio Spurs, and they’re looking to win the tournament for the second straight season.

Utah, meanwhile, has a 3-10 record, which puts it in last place in the Western Conference. The team is four games behind the 10th-place Sacramento Kings and is trying to find a way to give themselves a chance to compete for a play-in tournament spot by April.

Lakers vs Jazz injury updates:

Jazz: Taylor Hendricks (right fibula fracture) and Walker Kessler (right hip bursitis) are out.

Lakers: Anthony Davis (left plantar fasciitis) is likely. Rui Hachimura (sprained left ankle) is questionable. Bronny James Jr. (bruise of the left heel) is in doubt. Jaxson Hayes (right ankle sprain), Jalen Hood-Schifino (left hamstring strain), Jarred Vanderbilt (right foot surgery recovery) and Christian Wood (left knee surgery recovery) are out.

Advice and prediction:

The Lakers got off to a slow start and struggled to put teams aside when they had the chance to do so. However, they are doing a better job of beating inferior teams this season than last season when they lost many games to such teams, especially in December and January.

The Jazz are far inferior to the Lakers, and it helps that the Lakers will be back between the friendly walls of Crypto.com Arena. They are undefeated at home so far this season and have averaged 121.8 points per game on their home court in six games.

Utah is simply a weak team, ranking 27th in offensive rankings and 29th in defensive rankings. The only thing it somewhat excels in is offensive rebounding, and it’s a department in which it could potentially attack LA

We will be careful here and not suggest choosing LA to cover the spread. But we are confident that LeBron James and his team will pull off a win.

Prediction: Lakers 124, Jazz 115
