Nvidia will announce its third-quarter results after the closing bell on Wednesday.

Most important for investors will be customer demand for Nvidia’s Blackwell GPU chip. Although the chipmaker has said it won’t fully ramp up production of the chip until early 2025, Wall Street is looking for clues as to how many orders it has received for the product.

Nvidia stock was up 197% year to date through Wednesday’s close, easily outpacing the index S&P500‘s 24% gain.
