McDonald’s is releasing a ‘Pet Simulator’ happy meal, including 2 toys

McDonald’s is adding a little more magic to the holidays by releasing a special new Happy Meal with not one but two toys that make sharing a little easier.

On November 26, participating McDonald’s restaurants in the US will launch the new Pet Simulator Happy Meal, featuring a toy for the child in your life and another toy to give away to someone they love. Best of all, the second toy is already pre-packaged, making gift giving even easier.

“We hope this special Happy Meal inspires children to share during this season of giving. Sharing is such a big part of the McDonald’s ethos – whether it’s sharing your fries, your McNuggets or a McFlurry – and now we’re giving our youngest fans the chance to do just that with their Happy Meal. This meal consists of two toys: one for you and one for a gift,” said Jennifer Healan, the company’s vice president of U.S. marketing, brand, content and culture. “Whether they choose to gift their extra toy to a family member, make a friend smile, or show kindness to a neighbor, it’s about helping children feel the joy of giving during the holidays.”

Each Happy Meal comes with a holiday-inspired sticker sheet that allows you to create 18 different pet simulators. So it actually feels more like 18 toys in one.

“From my experience with families, I have seen that children are naturally inclined to be generous,” added Dr. Jazmine McCoy, family psychology expert and mother of three, added in the statement. “They just need gentle encouragement and positive reinforcement. The McDonald’s Pet Simulator Happy Meal provides parents and caregivers with an easy and accessible way to nurture their children’s empathy and help them experience the true joy of giving this holiday season.”

The Pet Simulator Happy Meals are available until December 16 or while supplies last, so get one while you can. McDonald’s noted that there is one more way for people to get into the spirit of giving this season, which is why they are completing their McDonald’s purchase, which will go towards supporting families in need through Ronald McDonald House Charities, that’s celebrating its 50th year, right? in time for this gift giving season.
