CMA Awards 2024: Here’s what you need to know, including how and where to watch, who’s nominated and who’s performing

LOS ANGELES — It’s almost time for Country Music’s Biggest Night! We’ve got everything you need to know about the 2024 CMA Awards.

How to watch

The 58th Annual CMA Awards air live on ABC on Wednesday, November 20 at 8pm ET/PT on ABC.

Where are the CMA Awards this year?

The awards ceremony will be held at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.

Who is nominated

Morgan Wallen tops the list with seven nominations, while other top nominees include Cody Johnson and Chris Stapleton with five nominations, and Post Malone and Lainey Wilson with four nominations each.

Louis Bell, Luke Combs, Charlie Handsome, Hoskins, Jelly Roll, Megan Moroney and Kacey Musgraves each received three nominations.

For the third year in a row, Wallen has a chance to win both the main prize – entertainer of the year – and the male vocalist category.

The entertainer of the year categories are rounded out by Luke Combs, Jelly Roll, Chris Stapleton and Lainey Wilson.

Before the nominations were announced, some fans speculated that Beyoncé, whose landmark country-and-then-recovery “Cowboy Carter” was released during the eligibility period, might receive a nomination at the 2024 CMAs. She did not.

Earlier this year, the album reached No. 1 on the Billboard country albums chart, making her the first Black woman to top the chart since its inception in 1964.

Who will organize the CMA Awards 2024?

A year after the “Heart Like a Truck” singer won Entertainer of the Year at the CMA Awards, Lainey Wilson will make her hosting debut on the show this year, joining the trusted team of Luke Bryan and Peyton as the third co-host Manning. .

“I’m excited!” Wilson told On The Red Carpet. “I mean, even as a little girl, it was like a big family celebration for us, like we were watching the CMAs. I mean, we looked forward to it… We’d watch rodeo or we’d watch the Country Music Awards!”

Who is performing?

Two-time CMA Entertainer of the Year and three-time nominee this year, Luke Combs, will perform “Ain’t No Love in Oklahoma.”

This year’s three-time nominee, Megan Moroney, will perform her single “Am I Okay?” execute.

Kacey Musgraves, also with three nominations this year, will sing “The Architect.”

First-time nominee and performer Bailey Zimmerman will take the stage with “New to Country.”

Collaborations include this year’s two-time nominee Kelsea Ballerini and first-time nominee and performer Noah Kahan with their nominated duet “Cowboys Cry Too.”

Confess & Dunn, nominated for the CMA Vocal Duo, welcome this year’s three-time nominee Jelly Roll to perform “Believe.”

Ella Langley and Riley Green, performing for the first time, will sing their hit ‘You look like you love me’.
