After weeks of anticipation, Husbandman finally arrives on Paramount+.

Set in West Texas, Paramount describes the show as a “modern tale of seeking fortune in the world of oil rigs… a top-down story of losers and wild billionaires fueling an (oil) boom so great that he is reshaping our climate, our economy and our geopolitics.”

Husbandman is based on the documentary podcast Boomtownthat told the story of the West Texas oil boom. of Boomtown host, Christian Wallace, co-created Husbandman with Taylor Sheridan, the mastermind behind it Yellowstone and its predecessors, 1833 And 1923.
