    Following the Denver Nuggets’ 127-102 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers on Saturday night, Lakers fans had plenty to say about LeBron James and the team as they dropped their second straight game at home.

    Denver’s Nikola Jokić and Russell Westbrook continue to strengthen their new-look team, improving to 9-6, while the Lakers fall to 10-6 on the season.

    Jokić finished the night with 34 points, 13 rebounds and eight assists while shooting 12 of 20 from the field. Michael Porter Jr. contributed 24 points and 11 rebounds and Westbrook added 14 points off the bench.

    On the other end of the court, LeBron James scored 18 points, six rebounds and seven assists while shooting 7-for-17 from the field. Austin Reaves added 19 points and six assists.

    Anthony Davis finished the night shooting 6-of-19, marking only the third time this season he has shot below 50 percent.

    The Lakers pulled their starters with less than five minutes left in the fourth quarter, essentially throwing in the towel, much to the disappointment of their fans.

    With the 25-point loss to their Western Conference rivals, Lakers fans are starting to question the team’s mettle and continued struggles against the Nuggets.

    LA is coming off the most disappointing end to a game they’ve had all season on Thursday with probably their most disappointing game overall considering all of their history with Denver.

    As I said yesterday, the Lakers defense needs to improve in a big way. One of the worst in the league, very lazy and no communication.
    Their schedule is now improving with competitive teams and their shortcomings are becoming more apparent.

    The Lakers will look for redemption on Tuesday when they take on the 9-7 Phoenix Suns on the road.
