The Kansas City Chiefs are in Charleston this weekend to take on the Carolina Panthers, and with the reigning Super Bowl champions out of town, the Kansas Jayhawks have taken their place at Arrowhead Stadium.

The Jayhawks had a rough start to the season, going 1-6 through the first seven games of head coach Lance Leipold’s third campaign with Kansas.

The Jayhawks battled back in recent weeks to lift themselves to 4-6, and with a trip to a third straight bowl game in a row, Kansas tightened up in crunch time to soar past Coach Prime’s Colorado Buffaloes on Saturday .

Smart running back Devin Neal took over the exciting Big 12 matchup, totaling 287 yards and four touchdowns on 37 rushes and four catches.

After weeks of playing spoiler, the Jayhawks could be on their way to another bowl game if they can get another win against the Baylor Bears next Saturday.
